The annual Beeld Children's Fund Spinning Marathon

The annual Beeld Children’s Fund Spinning Marathon has become an eagerly anticipated event at the Centurion mall. This fun fundraiser event was created to raise awareness and money to aid the Children’s fund to assist children in need of care. Boost Juice has been involved in the event for the past two years, last year spinning over 400km in na adrenalin driven dash before the final cut-off time.

This year we sponsored the team from the Jacaranda Children’s Home and gave well deserved and much needed Smoothies to the long distance spinners, Dirk and Piet and their team who cycled for 24 hours! Barry Boost was present at the event to encourage and congratulate the spinners who all contributed to one of the most successful Spinning Marathons yet, raising over R324,000.

Adrie from Beeld Children’s was overjoyed by the response, adding: “Everybody that participated did so to help the children in need. About 1000 children from 85 charities benefit from the monies raised every year; everyone in this marathon made a difference to the lives of these children.”
