Boost Juice Bars Opens at the V&A Waterfront

06 September 2011, Cape Town – Visitors to the illustrious V&A Waterfront will now be welcomed by a strange new sound as the hum of blenders join the cacophony of seagulls, foghorns and laughter heard daily at the working harbour.  The blenders are ready; the fruit prepped as Boost Juice Bars proudly welcomes our latest Booster Jenny Kearney, “diva on the desks” at the brand new Boost Juice outlet at the V&A. Joining the magnificent network of more than 260 outlets in 16 countries across the globe. The opening of the second Boost Juice Bar in the Western Cape is a testimony to the phenomenal growth of the brand in South Africa, soon expanding to 11 outlets in four provinces in 2011.

Jenny and V&A partner Nicholas Wallander bring a vibrancy and love for life enthusiasm to the Boost Juice Family that mirrors that of Boost Juice Founder Janine Allis’s passion for health, fun and people on which the ‘Natural High’ brand ethos is built.  Jenny will be leading this team in Cape Town with her charisma and entrepreneurial spirit which is apparent as she plans on steering the Boost V&A store to uncharted success, in her quest to have every person that visits the store leave “feeling just a little bit better!”

Boost Juice is challenging the South African customer service status quo, delighting customers by not only offering them nutritional products, but also exceptional service with that all important personal touch. Jenny regularly visits the Boost Juice Bar at Cape Town International Airport during her travels “The Boosties at the airport are always full of energy and excitement; you can’t help but feel invigorated as you take on the rest of your day with your favourite Smoothie in hand. The laughter, music and the teams’ ability to make every customer feel special really got me excited about joining the Boost Juice Bars Family”, reiterates Jenny.

The Cape Town International airport team got Jenny and her partners so excited that they have seconded Xola the manager at CTIA to their team at the V&A Waterfront with his tremendous experience and success story at the airport. Xola will lead from the front and impart his knowledge and fun filled love for life attitude to the new Boosties at the V&A… “I am so excited about this opportunity to teach the new team everything I know and grow another successful Boost Bar in the Western Cape, whilst still keeping the Team at CTIA rocking the juice decks, we will surely take this province on by storm” says Xola.

Boost SA started actively securing franchise partners in 2010 and has since been overwhelmed by the phenomenal interest from the market, going on to open the first “Partner” store in Durban at Gateway’s Theatre of Shopping in December 2010, and securing numerous sites at high-end shopping centres across the country. In addition to the opening of the store at the V&A Waterfront, Boost Juice is also geared to open a new flagship store in Polokwane in the fashionable Mall of the North.
